The Falls Efficacy site aims to consolidate local and international research work relating to falls efficacy. Falls Efficacy has remained an enigmatic concept with a history of being associated with the fear of falling. Emerging literature has identified that falls efficacy and fear of falling are distinct concepts and they should be inquired about separately. Falls efficacy can mitigate the fear of falling and play a role towards behavioural changes. Falls efficacy has been recommended to be studied in epidemiologic and interventional studies.
